Job Summary
Registered Nurse - Urgent Hiring on a Cardiac/Neuro-focused unit. Provides assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care; supervises non-RN staff; may act as charge nurse; supports education for patients and families; demonstrates expertise in neuro assessment, airway management, endotracheal/tracheostomy care, ventilator management, and operating within the unit's policies. Strong emphasis on patient-centered care, teamwork, and adherence to professional standards. BSN preferred with current Connecticut RN licensure and BCLS certification; opportunities for clinical advancement.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- BSN preferred
- current BCLS certification or must obtain within one month of hire
- Licensed and a currently registered nurse in the State of Connecticut
- Clinical specialty certification highly encouraged
