Job Summary
RN on a nursing unit under supervision, assumes charge role when needed, may supervise non-RN personnel, precepting responsibilities, and unit coverage across assigned pediatrics-focused tasks. Key duties include assessing patient condition, planning and coordinating care, implementing and evaluating the care plan, ensuring patient and family education, and ensuring policy adherence. Requires competency in pediatric care, arrhythmia management, proper medication administration by weight/age, and strong collaboration with healthcare team; BSN preferred and CT RN license required.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate Of An Accredited School Of Nursing; BSN Preferred
- BLS Certification Required
- Valid State Of Connecticut Registered Nurse License
