Job Summary
Per Diem Registered Nurse (RN) for ESWL procedures in a mobile urology-focused clinical environment. Administer IV sedation under urologist supervision; conduct pre-procedure nursing assessments; educate patients on lithotripsy treatment and recovery; monitor and document vital signs, sedation levels, and post-procedure outcomes; venipuncture and medication administration per physician direction; participate in annual sedation competency reviews; travel across sites within 30 minutes to support a mobile surgical team; independent, fast-paced, team-oriented care with strong knowledge of conscious sedation protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
- ACLS and BLS certification required
- Cardiac monitoring experience is required
- A minimum of 5 years of acute care nursing and conscious sedation administration experience
