Job Summary
Registered Nurse in UCHealth's Surgery Center (Inverness, Englewood) working in perioperative care across PACU and Operating Room for sports medicine orthopedic ACL cases. Provides direct patient care using the nursing process within a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team and emphasizes evidence-based practice and precepting for nurses new to the unit. Perioperative scope includes direct care across perioperative, PACU, and OR levels of care with core curriculum standards incorporated. Full-time, 72 hours per pay period, 4x10 days with potential 13-week assignments and travel package options.
Required Qualifications
- CO RN license or eNLC privileges
- 1-year experience
- ACLS
- BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
