Job Summary
Answer incoming phone calls regarding patients and consult with the Head Nurse or physician to present the patient's problem and resolve it or direct calls to the appropriate person. Ensure all interactions align with FCS's commitment to world-class cancer care and access to ground-breaking therapies. This Registered Nurse Triage role supports our network of nearly 100 locations by facilitating patient communication within a smoke-free, drug-free environment.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse
- licensed in the State of Residence
- Experience with hematology/oncology patients in a clinic or hospital
- Current CPR certification
- BLS required upon hire or must be obtained within 30 days of employment
- Clear results of a thorough background screening
- Various vaccinations, including the influenza vaccine, barring an approved exemption
- Drug/nicotine testing clearance
