Job Summary
Registered Nurse Traveler in the Cath Lab for HonorHealth, based in Phoenix, AZ, with 13-week assignments and potential extensions. Provides patient assessment, medication administration (including IV therapy), post-care planning, and collaboration with physicians and the interdisciplinary team. Responsibilities include maintaining stroke-focused knowledge (e.g., NIHSS, Modified Rankin), preparing care plans, educating patients and families, supervising licensed practical nurses and nursing aides, and advancing clinical knowledge through practice within a Shared Governance model. Requires an RN with at least an associate degree or diploma (BSN preferred with upgrade within 60 months or 5+ years RN experience), AZ licensure, ACLS/BLS, and unit-specific certifications as applicable. Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree or Diploma in Nursing
- RN State Licensure as a registered nurse in the State of Arizona
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- 2 years RN experience (required)
- National certification for unit specific patient population - Preferred
