Job Summary
The Registered Nurse Travel RN is responsible for the nursing care of patients according to physician's orders, including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care and nursing care plans. Responsibilities include obtaining medical histories, assessing patient status, advocating for patient rights, updating care plans bi-weekly, supervising care provided by Hospice Aides/CNAs, and monitoring and reporting changes in patient condition to physicians. Candidates must have an active RN license, nursing experience, and knowledge of nursing practices.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a Registered Nurse licensed in the state of operation
- Nursing experience required
- Sound knowledge of nursing principles
- Procedures and elements of patient family teaching
