Job Summary
Collaborate with the Trauma Program Manager to oversee performance improvement and injury prevention activities at the facility and community. Manage and coordinate performance improvement tasks, including conducting chart reviews to evaluate clinical care quality and identifying issues to improve outcomes. Oversee injury prevention education and activities within the hospital and community while partnering with coalitions for Trauma Center verification. Assist Trauma Program staff with performance improvement activities and prepare case review summaries for the Trauma Program Manager and Medical Director. Participate in trauma committees to follow up on and resolve action items. Requires a one-year licensed RN experience, BLS certification, and a BSN; previous emergency or trauma program experience is preferred. Part-time, 20 hours/week at Intermountain Health Lutheran Hospital in Wheat Ridge, Colorado.
Required Qualifications
- One year of licensed RN experience
- RN license in state of practice
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers

- 3 years of critical care or emergency department experience
- TNCC certification
