Registered Nurse - Trauma Orthopedics - Weekend Work Option

Provide care for patients with orthopedic and complex medical conditions on a Level 1 Trauma Progressive Care Unit. Utilize the nursing process to coordinate patient care plans, delegate tasks, and supervise staff while consulting the healthcare team for optimal outcomes. Maintain IV infusions including heparin, Lasix, Cardizem, amiodarone, and PCA/CADD pumps. Accountable for adhering to policies, rules, and guidelines. Participate in shared governance and quality improvement initiatives. Works 2–12 hour weekend night shifts at time and a half pay. Requires one year of Basic Life Support certification and Registered Nurse status.
