Job Summary
Provide patient care in a Level 1 Trauma and Stroke Emergency Department, utilizing the nursing process to evaluate care effectiveness and coordinate with other departments. Maintain professional accountability for assigned patients while ensuring confidentiality and adhering to Mercy Service Standards. Work alongside Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physicians in a facility recognized for outstanding trauma services across Missouri, Arkansas, and Oklahoma. Mid-shift schedule from 1:00 PM to 1:00 AM with flexible start times and shift differentials. Requires current RN licensure, hospital-based experience, and certifications including ACLS, PALS, and ENPC.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a State approved School of Nursing
- Current RN licensure with the Missouri State Board of Nursing or current RN Missouri temporary work permit
- Hospital based experience
- ETC and Acute Care Center RN's must have a current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card or complete a course within their probation period
- ETC RN's must have a current ACLS card or complete a course within 6 months of their hire date
- ETC RN's must have current PALS or ENPC, and TNCC cards or complete courses within one year of hire date
