Job Summary
Facilitate patient movement across markets based on acuity, bed availability, and service requirements while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure appropriate levels of care. Connect requesting physicians with specialty consultants, maintain relationships with referral sources, and assist with pre-registration, insurance verification, and overall care processes. Monitor status changes and relay pertinent medical reports to admitting physicians and nursing units. This Registered Nurse role operates on a night shift (7pm - 7am) full-time schedule at a remote location within 1 of Wichita, KS. Candidates must hold a Registered Nurse license obtained prior to hire, with BLS certification preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing
- Required professional licensure at time of hire
