Job Summary
Responsible for delivering patient care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The Registered Nurse will coordinate nursing care for medical/surgical patients following established standards, collaborate with healthcare professionals for effective care delivery, and integrate knowledge of patient age and cultural diversity into nursing practices. Essential functions include performing complete health assessments, analyzing data for patient problems, formulating care plans, documenting patient information accurately, and ensuring continuity of care through collaboration. The role requires lifting and moving patients safely, and conducting timely evaluations to adjust care plans.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse license
- Ability to utilize the nursing process in the provision of nursing care
- Knowledge of appropriate assessments and planning of care for patient population served
- Maintains current status in CPR
