Job Summary
Provide clinical supervision and coordinate safe, effective, individualised care for residents and their families at Gill Waminda Aged Care Centre. Complete relevant documentation for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care needs while maintaining accurate records to meet AN-ACC requirements. Manage medication administration in accordance with legislative guidelines, including the Poisons and Therapeutic Goods Act 1996, and liaise with doctors and health professionals for treatment directions. Develop care plans and complete necessary reports to support residents in leading active, meaningful lives. Apply unrestricted Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency registration and aged care experience to deliver compassionate, quality-led nursing within a supportive, inclusive team environment.
Required Qualifications
- Current unrestricted registration with Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency
- Demonstrated aged care experience
- Understanding of and commitment to continuous quality improvement
- Experience in developing care plans
- An understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards
- An understanding of AN-ACC
- Demonstrated organisational and time management skills
- Demonstrated well developed computer and documentation skills
- National NDIS worker screening check
- Job offers will be subject to a National Criminal History Check as per Police Certificate Guidelines for Aged Care Providers
- All child facing roles will require the successful completion of a Working with Children Check
- Applicants for all roles require a mandatory Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check
