Job Summary
Deliver individualised care and ensure residents' safety, wellbeing, and comfort overnight at Barrington Lodge, a 77-bed aged care centre. Provide clinical leadership by coordinating safe, effective care delivery, managing staff and physical resources, and maintaining a calm environment while working autonomously. Complete relevant documentation for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating resident needs, including care plans and AN-ACC requirements. Maintain accurate clinical records, manage medication administration in accordance with legislative guidelines, and liaise with doctors and health professionals. Support residents to lead active, meaningful lives while upholding The Salvation Army's mission and values. Work the night shift (11:00PM – 7:15AM) with 23.25 scheduled weekly hours.
Required Qualifications
- Permanent part-time Registered Nurse
- Night shift (11:00PM – 7:15AM)
- Current unrestricted registration with Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency
- Demonstrated aged care experience
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Understanding of and commitment to continuous quality improvement
- Experience in developing care plans
- Understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards
- Understanding of AN-ACC
- Demonstrated organisational and time management skills
- Demonstrated well developed computer and documentation skills
- National NDIS worker screening check
- National Criminal History Check
