Job Summary
Monitor and support the health and wellness needs of individuals receiving services through The Arc Chemung-Schuyler. Coordinate medical appointments, treatments, and follow-up care while providing nursing assessments and health-related guidance. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, families, and healthcare providers to ensure compliance with regulations and promote quality, person-centered support. Assist with health education and wellness initiatives to foster meaningful, fulfilling lives for those with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Required Qualifications
- Current New York State Registered Nursing license
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of one year of acute care nursing experience
- Experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (ID/DD)
