Job Summary
Provides direct nursing care in a medical-surgical telemetry setting, following established policies and procedures. Uses the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care; develops care plans tailored to patient needs; collaborates with patients, families, and interprofessional team to facilitate outcomes; educates patients and families on measures to promote health and recovery; demonstrates leadership by mentoring colleagues and coordinating care; adheres to safety and quality standards and applies evidence-based practice. Role includes weekend option with full-time day shift and holidays as required, with a compensation range supported by hourly pay and eligibility for a sign-on bonus for external candidates.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing
- One year registered nurse experience
- State RN license: IL OR compact state OR MO OR OK OR WI; eligibility for BLS HCP per AHA; valid RN license in each applicable state
