Job Summary
Conduct telemetry and stroke unit care for patients across multiple shifts, including 7a-730p rotations with end-of-week coverage. Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to manage acute care needs. Utilize evidence-based practices and clinical instruction to practice at the top of your license while completing a Nurse Residency program. Maintain healthy staff ratios and support patient recovery from birth through end-of-life care in this acute-care community teaching hospital setting.
Required Qualifications
- Current Connecticut RN License required within 90 days of Hire
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school
- BLS certification by the American Heart Association
Desired Qualifications
- One-year recent Acute Care RN experience preferred
