Registered Nurse Telemetry

Assess patients' conditions, including vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and overall health status, to create individualized care plans. Monitor patients' cardiac rhythms and vital signs using telemetry equipment, communicate with physicians about clinical changes, and administer prescribed medications while monitoring for adverse reactions. Provide hands-on care, educate patients and families, and respond quickly to condition changes throughout the shift. This part-time day shift role at St. Joseph Medical Center in Kansas City, MO, requires a current state RN license with BLS certification.
