Job Summary
Implement, direct, and coordinate patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation on a 30-bed telemetry/observation unit serving cardiac, medical, and surgical patients. Manage physical and psychosocial changes unique to the age and population group served. Work 12-hour night shifts (7-7) with every third weekend off, eligible for weekend differential pay. Full-time employment averaging 72 hours biweekly. Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse
- 30-bed unit specializing in cardiac, medical, and surgical patients
- Individualized, comprehensive orientation program
- Residency program for new graduates
- Basic Rhythm course
- ACLS certification
- NIHSS course
