Job Summary

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process, including physical, social, and psychological status. Direct the interdisciplinary team through delegation and collaboration while prioritizing care delivery, managing time, supplies, and resources. Collaboratively develop individualized care plans with patients, families, and physicians, ensuring accurate and timely documentation. Evaluate patient response to interventions and revise care plans as needed. Maintain legal and ethical standards within the scope of licensure. Requires current RN license, BLS certification, and BSN degree; works 7p-7:30 am shifts at Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver.

Required Qualifications

Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice
Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment
Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN)
Education must be obtained from an accredited institution
Degree will be verified
Must be able to see and read information, labels, assess patient needs, operate monitors, identify equipment and supplies
Must be able to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues quickly and accurately
Must have manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy
Must be able to lift and utilize full range of movement to transfer patients
Must be able to bend to retrieve, lift, and carry supplies and equipment
Must be able to walk and assist with transporting/ambulating patients and obtaining and distributing supplies and equipment
Must be able to stand in a stationary position for an extended period of time
Must be able to drive a vehicle which requires sitting, seeing and reading signs, traffic signals, and other vehicles
Must be able to effectively lead and coach others
