Job Summary
Provides professional nursing care in Level 2 Telemetry department with responsibilities including conducting patient assessments, administering medications, and collaborating with healthcare teams. Must work three 12-hour shifts per week, including rotating days/nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited professional school of nursing
- current Pennsylvania licensure
- valid Pennsylvania temporary practice permit for GN
- must complete the licensing examination within six months of hire
- Basic Cardiac Life Support
- ACLS within 6-month introductory period
- successful completion of applicable clearances within 90 days of employment
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelors of Science Degree in nursing
- Two years of acute care nursing experience
- Two years of Telemetry experience
- Certification in this specialty area
