Job Summary
Provides professional nursing care practicing legal nursing responsibilities as indicated by the Nurse Practice Act. Graduate Nurse will operate under the supervision of an experienced registered nurse. Must complete the licensing examination within six months of hire. Requires current Pennsylvania licensure and Basic Cardiac Life Support certification. ACLS certification must be obtained within the six-month introductory period.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited professional school of nursing
- Current Pennsylvania licensure
- Valid Pennsylvania temporary practice permit for GN
- Basic Cardiac Life Support
- ACLS (must obtain within 6-month introductory period)
- Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelors of Science Degree in nursing
- Two years of acute care nursing experience
- Two years of Telemetry experience
- Certification in this specialty area
