Registered Nurse Telemetry

Assess patients' conditions, including vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and overall health status, to create individualized care plans. Monitor patients' cardiac rhythms and vital signs using telemetry equipment, communicate with physicians about clinical changes, and administer prescribed medications while monitoring for adverse reactions. Provide hands-on care including wound care, assist with activities of daily living, and educate patients and families on self-care practices. Respond quickly to changes in patient conditions throughout the 12-hour day shift from 7:00am to 7:00pm. Ensure safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
