Job Summary
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and clinical changes for adult patients with acute conditions like congestive heart failure, chest pain, and high oxygen support needs. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans and manage moderate to high acuity patients while educating families on treatment and discharge instructions. Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced telemetry setting with rapid turnover, serving as a steppingstone toward stepdown or critical care pathways.
Required Qualifications
- Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN)
- Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire
