Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms for adult patients with acute conditions like congestive heart failure and chest pain while providing high-quality, patient-centered care in a telemetry setting. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans for patients requiring moderate to high acuity needs, including those with high oxygen support or overflow from surgical cardiac units. Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions within a fast-paced environment offering a steppingstone toward critical care pathways. Required Qualifications
- Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN)
- Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire
