Job Summary
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms for adult patients with congestive heart failure, chest pain, and respiratory conditions requiring continuous telemetry. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans for moderate to high acuity needs while educating patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions. Manage rapid patient turnover in a high-acuity environment that mirrors the complexity of critical care units but offers a more intimate setting. Required Qualifications
- Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN)
- Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire
