Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) on night shift providing assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care using the nursing process and collaborating with interdisciplinary team. Directs and coordinates care with other health team members, ensures care aligns with plan of care and licensure provisions, and maintains accurate documentation. Essential skills include patient assessment, care planning, delegation and coordination of the care team, prioritization, critical thinking, communication, and evidence-based practice. Requires current RN license in state of practice, and BLS; compact licenses transferred within 60 days; BSN required by 4/27/2025 (RN with less than 12 months’ experience must obtain BSN within four years); location at Saint Joseph Hospital, Denver, CO with a 36-hour weekly schedule; hourly pay range $37.17-$56.17. Required Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice
- Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of start of employment
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain their BSN within four years of their hire date
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) preferred; BSN required as of last update per posting
