Registered Nurse-Tele Med Surg Full Time Nights

Assess and record patient status upon admission, organize health data for accuracy, and identify problems requiring immediate attention. Validate diagnoses with patients and the healthcare team, document individualized plans of care, and initiate discharge planning at the time of admission. Provide evidence-based patient education, prioritize nursing interventions, and continuously evaluate the effectiveness of care actions to ensure realistic outcomes. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, present patient information at conferences, and make appropriate referrals for continuity. Requires a BSN (or ADN with commitment to obtain BSN within three years), current Illinois RN license, and BLS certification. Full-time night shift at Palos Hospital.
