Registered Nurse-Surgical Stepdown-Day/Evenings

Provide nursing care to all patient populations in the department while utilizing the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate the patient plan of care. Maintain regulatory compliance in individual practice and assume responsibility, accountability, and authority for outcomes of nursing care. Guide and direct assigned unlicensed nursing personnel in delivering patient care, positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting a high quality patient experience. This Registered Nurse-Surgical Stepdown role at Endeavor Health's Evanston Hospital offers a 36-hour weekly schedule with Monday-Friday shifts from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, 7:00 am to 7:30 pm, and rotating weekends. Candidates require a BSN degree (preferred), current Illinois nursing licensure, BLS/CPR certification, and one year of experience.
