Job Summary
Assess patients and families using a person-centered approach to recognize deviations in physical, emotional, and behavioral status. Plan and evaluate patient care by prioritizing goals for expected and unanticipated needs while involving patients and support persons. Demonstrate competence in implementing technical skills and clinical documentation compliance, remaining current on policies and standards. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to execute evidence-based interventions within a shared governance environment. This onsite role requires active New York licensure, an Associate Degree in Nursing, and BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications. Hourly pay ranges from $38.63 to $47.18, with less than 25% travel required.
Required Qualifications
- Active New York Nursing license
- Associates Degree in Nursing
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- PALS certification
- Must be able physically to operate the equipment used for the job
- Must be able to lift and carry light loads (up to 40 lbs)
- Must be able to sit, walk, or stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to stoop and kneel
- Less than 25% Travel
Desired Qualifications
- BSN preferred
- Graduate of an Accredited school of nursing
