Registered Nurse, Surgical Services, Days, Full-Time

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for individuals in surgical services, monitoring conditions and reporting status changes to physicians. Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments accurately while performing nursing interventions per hospital protocols. Document all activities in the electronic medical record and educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care. Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to develop care plans, respond to emergencies, and maintain a safe environment through infection control compliance. Participate in quality improvement initiatives, continuing education, and staff meetings. Available shifts include 3-12-hour days on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays; 3-12-hour days on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays; and 4-10-hour days Monday through Thursday. Requires an Associate's degree in nursing, current Kentucky RN license, and BLS certification.
