Job Summary
Assess patient status, implement clinical nursing interventions to modify symptoms, and develop patient care plans to enhance outcomes on the Surgical/Orthopedic unit. Provide safe, age-appropriate care for both medical and surgical patients across specialties including general surgery, colorectal, orthopedics, bariatric, and urology. Function as an advisor and resource for patients and families while maintaining a patient-centered approach with multidisciplinary collaboration. Requires a Maryland RN license (or Compact), ADN or BSN, and BLS certification.
Required Qualifications
- Active Maryland RN license or Compact State license
- ADN or BSN
- BLS (AHA or Red Cross)
