Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process, including physical, social, and psychological status reviews. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans, delegate tasks, and coordinate patient delivery while managing time and resources. Evaluate patient responses to interventions, revise care plans as needed, and ensure accurate, timely documentation of all clinical activities. Maintain legal and ethical standards within scope of licensure while promoting professional development. BSN required as of April 27, 2025; current state license and BLS certification mandatory. Full range of motion and manual dexterity needed for patient transfers and equipment handling. Located at St. Marys Regional Hospital in Grand Junction, Colorado, with 36 weekly hours and an hourly range of $37.45 to $57.29.
Required Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice
- Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN). Education must be obtained from an accredited institution
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required as of the job description's last update on 4/27/2025
- RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within four (4) years of their hire date
