Registered Nurse - Surgical Intermediate Care - FT Days

Job Summary
Provide direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Supervise assigned team members and collaborate with multidisciplinary staff to deliver age-appropriate care in accordance with unit standards. Maintain clear communication, build collaborative relationships, and take initiative for professional growth while improving the patient experience. Requires a BSN, current Texas RN license, at least six months of RN experience, and current Basic Life Support certification. Work 12X3 day shifts from 7am to 7pm. Methodist Health System serves Richardson, Garland, Plano, and surrounding areas as a Magnet-designated, comprehensive stroke center and Level III trauma facility.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
- Current Basic Life Support Certification
- Current additional certifications as required by department
- Current license to practice professional nursing in Texas or eligibility to do so
- Work experience: at least 6 months RN experience
- Current license to practice professional nursing in Texas or eligibility to do so
