Registered Nurse - Surgical Intensive Care Unit - RN

Coordinate nursing care, including direct patient care, patient/family education, and transitions of care within the Surgical Intensive Care Unit. Plan, implement, evaluate, and communicate all phases of nursing care for assigned patients while providing leadership through preceptor roles, informal and formal leadership activities, and quality improvement efforts. Delegate patient care according to skill level, experience, patient acuity, fiscal accountability, and resource availability. Possess excellent communication skills for mentoring and teaching; may participate on committees or projects. A subset of employees may be required to drive their personal vehicle as part of the role.
