Job Summary
Registered Nurse – Surgical Intensive Care Unit (ICU) providing highly professional and technical nursing care to assigned patients in a PRN Nights role. Applies the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation) and maintains safe, therapeutic environments through accurate communication, medication and IV administration, and ongoing professional development. Requires graduation from an accredited school of nursing, current BLS certification, Texas RN licensure or eligibility, and a minimum of six months RN experience. Roles at Methodist Richardson Medical Center (Plano, TX) support a Magnet-designated hospital with a strong commitment to stroke, trauma, and neonatal care.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current Basic Life Support Certification
- Current license to practice nursing in Texas or eligibility to do so
- Work experience: Six months RN experience
