Registered Nurse – Surgical Intensive Care Unit – FT Nights

Provide direct and indirect patient care in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit using the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Administer safe, accurate, and timely medications and IVs while ensuring complete, accurate, and timely written communication of patient information. Supervise assigned team members and collaborate with multidisciplinary staff to deliver age-appropriate care in accordance with unit standards. Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment for patients, families, and coworkers while promoting a collaborative work atmosphere through clear communication and open relationships. This role requires a Texas-licensed RN with at least 12 months of experience and BLS certification, working rotating 12X3 night shifts. Methodist Richardson Medical Center is a Magnet-designated, Level III Trauma Center serving Dallas and Collin counties.
