Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care for assigned patients in the Surgical ICU, maintaining professional accountability and evaluating the effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers. Coordinate patient care in conjunction with other departments while ensuring patient rights and confidentiality of patient information are upheld. Perform duties consistent with Mercy service standards within a modern care environment featuring advanced technology and expanded capacity following a recent $162 million expansion. No call schedule applies to this nights shift role.
