Job Summary
Provide intermediate-level surgical ICU care for cardiothoracic, vascular, neurosurgery, trauma, and transplant patients, including ventilated patients and those with cervical spine or traumatic brain injuries. Manage hemodynamic monitoring via arterial lines and administer stable doses of dopamine, neo-synephrine, diltiazem, dobutamine, and nitroglycerine. Oversee post-operative renal transplant patients and those on continuous renal replacement therapies, while caring for high-risk OB patients. This 38-bed unit accepts transfers from PACU or SICU. Schedule includes 36-hour nights (7 PM to 7 AM) with every other weekend off.
Required Qualifications
- MA RN License
- 2 Years Acute Experience
