Job Summary
Provide intraoperative assistance to surgeons during procedures, conduct preoperative patient assessments, and maintain sterile environments. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop care plans while educating patients and families on treatment and recovery. Ensure compliance with infection control standards and support operating room workflows for continuous improvement. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
- Minimum of 3 years of RN experience in a surgical or perioperative setting
- Prior First Assist experience
- Strong knowledge of surgical anatomy, physiology, and operative techniques
- Excellent communication and patient education skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast‐paced, team‐oriented environment
