Job Summary
Manage patient care for a 25-bed adult med-surg unit specializing in GI and GU post-surgical patients. Assess patient conditions, administer medications, change dressings, monitor vital signs, maintain records, and provide support and education to patients and families. Work the night shift from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, 36 hours weekly, utilizing the unit's latest technology and virtual nursing program. This role offers special training in suprapubic catheter insertion and post-bariatric surgery, with opportunities for continuing education and advancement within CoxHealth's six-hospital system.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program or NLN approved program
- RN license active in the state of Missouri
- BLS certification to be obtained within 90 days of hire
