Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care for assigned surgical patients while maintaining professional accountability. Evaluate the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers and coordinate patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information in accordance with Mercy Service Standards. Obtain or maintain American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications within 90 days of hire. Full-time employment with a 10,000 sign-on bonus available for candidates with at least one year of experience.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate degree, Diploma, or BSN)
- Current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure
- American Heart Association BLS and ACLS
