Job Summary
Perform scrub and circulating functions in the operative setting, including instrument selection, patient monitoring, and surgical assistance with tasks like hemostasis and suturing. Prepare operating rooms and equipment, apply evidence-based practice to meet patient-specific clinical needs, and maintain constant alertness while communicating patient status to the physician. Directly assist the operating physician with patient positioning and wound exposure. Maintain professional standards guided by the ANA Code of Ethics and work in a safe manner. Requires a Missouri RN license, BLS certification, and completion of orientation before on-call shifts begin.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing
- State of Work Location: Missouri
- Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA)
- Registered Nurse (RN) - Missouri Division of Professional Registration
- Registered Nurse (RN) Issued by Compact State
- Monday-Friday (4, 10-hour shifts), shift is 0630-1700
- On-call shifts will be required after completing orientation
