Job Summary
Perform scrub and circulating functions during surgical procedures, including instrument selection, patient monitoring, and assisting the physician with tasks like hemostasis and suturing. Prepare operating rooms and equipment for use while applying evidence-based practice to meet patient-specific clinical needs. Maintain constant alertness and adhere to professional nursing standards and the ANA Code of Ethics throughout the shift. Requires a Missouri RN license, BLS certification, and preferred OR experience. Schedule includes Monday through Friday 8-hour shifts with a rotating on-call requirement of 3-4 nights per month.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing
- State of Work Location: Missouri
- Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA)
- Registered Nurse (RN) - Missouri Division of Professional Registration
- Registered Nurse (RN) Issued by Compact State
