Job Summary
Delivers professional nursing care in the operative setting for patients undergoing surgical or invasive procedures. Performs scrub and circulating functions; assists operating physician with hemostasis, suturing and wound exposure; prepares operating rooms and instruments; applies evidence-based nursing practice; maintains patient safety and professional standards; requires Missouri RN license and BLS; full-time day shift with on-call and holiday requirements; orientation 6–9 months; sign-on bonus for external candidates.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing
- State RN license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider - AHA
- Missouri RN license or compact state
- Ability to perform scrub and circulating functions
- Ability to assist surgeon with hemostasis, suturing, etc
- 40 hours weekly with day shift
- On-call and holiday requirements
