Registered Nurse, Surgery | PRN (As-Needed)

Perioperative Registered Nurse (PRN) provides patient advocacy and care coordination during the perioperative period, protecting patients from injury, wrong-site surgery, and infection; coordinates care between providers and hospital staff; supports patients’ physical and emotional needs and assists the surgeon; documents care and interventions accurately (e.g., equipment, supplies). Roles may include operating room circulator duties; preferred qualifications include BSN, CNOR, and Meditech proficiency. Licensure required in Texas as an RN with BLS, ACLS, and PALS. One year of circulator experience in hospital or outpatient surgery preferred.
