Job Summary
Provide top-of-scope direct patient care in the Progressive Care Unit within a technically complex environment, utilizing the nursing process and AACN's Synergy Model evidence-based care standards. Model proficiency by precepting new healthcare staff and guide individualized specialty education for competency validation under Clinical Educators. Contribute to secure safety and quality at the point of care while maintaining state licensure, BLS, and ACLS certifications current through sixty days of hire. This onsite full-time role includes a 72-hour pay period with day and night rotation, offering a 3-Year Incentive Bonus, merit pay increases, and comprehensive total rewards including tuition reimbursement and professional development access.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- 6 months of ICU or PCU (Progressive Care Unit) nursing (RN) experience or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program
- BLS and ACLS cards must be good through sixty days of hire
