Job Summary
Provide top-of-scope direct patient care in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) within a technically complex environment, utilizing the nursing process. Model proficiency by precepting new healthcare staff and guide individualized specialty education and training for competency validation. Contribute to secure safety and quality at the point of care while supporting evidence-based care models aligned with AACN's Synergy Model. Requires state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN), six months of ICU or PCU experience, and current BLS and ACLS certification. Full-time day and night rotation with onsite availability.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- 6 months of ICU or PCU (Progressive Care Unit) nursing (RN) experience or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program
- BLS and ACLS cards must be good through sixty days of hire
