Registered Nurse - Surgery Charge Nurse

Assign, direct, and monitor nursing and support staff during assigned shifts while assessing daily patient care needs and distributing assignments. Contribute to or perform performance evaluations of staff and collaborate with advanced practice providers to ensure quality outcomes. Evaluate the effectiveness of patient care, identify issues affecting desired outcomes, and manage patient care complaints through established channels. Provide input for hiring, training, directing, developing, and evaluating staff. Maintain a constant state of alertness and safe manner. This role supports MO-SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital's Surgery department, requiring a graduate of an accredited nursing school with one year of RN experience.
