Registered Nurse - Surgery

Greet and admit patients to pre- and post-operative areas, then assess, plan, and evaluate care using the nursing process. Prepare operating suites by monitoring cleanliness, assembling supplies, and checking equipment functionality. Assist anesthesia providers and surgeons during procedures while evaluating and treating patients under local anesthesia. Start IVs, administer medications, and maintain accurate surgical records. Manage immediate postoperative care, including transporting patients to recovery and providing family training. Obtain patient histories through interviews and evaluate individual needs. This Safety Sensitive position requires an Associate's degree with a current RN license and BLS certification. One year of ophthalmology surgery experience is a plus.
